Matrix Cards and Games is a family owned and operated 3,000 sq. ft. Gaming and Hobby Shop. Spanning three separate gaming areas. 1,400 sq. ft. for board gamers, providing the ambiance of a library. 600 sq. ft. for the table top miniature gamers, so they can show their enthusiasm. 1,000 sq. ft. for the TCG/CCG community to enjoy their favorite card games. Providing individual gaming areas for the gamer is the ultimate gaming experience. We also welcome all Role playing groups to come in and enjoy their sessions at Matrix Cards and Games. There are over 60 seats between the three rooms for you to come in with your family and friends to play your games or our open library of games, hang-out and have fun.
Our retail product lines include Magic the Gathering, Yugioh and other TCG/CCG card games and accessories. We also sell board games, Warhammer 40K, Privateer Press, Star Wars X-Wing and a full line of hobby paints and supplies. We carry Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder and Star Wars RPG books and much, much more….

The most recent addition to our product line is Bandai Gundam model kits. The utimate entry level model kit. No glue or paint required. All that is needed is a pair of nippers and a emery board (file).
Matrix Cards and Games is now an official Pokemon tournament organized store, and will be hosting the first Pokemon pre-release Redding has ever seen, for the Sun & Moon Ultra Prism set on Sunday 1/28/18 @ 1pm. $25 entry will get you 4 Sun & Moon-Ultra Prism Booster Packs, 1 Evolution Pack, 1 of 4 alt-art promo cards, 1 Deck building tip sheet.
Whats New
The Redding Chess Club also plays at Matrix Cards and Games every Monday and Thursday from 6pm until 9pm. Welcoming all skill levels and ages. Members are always willing to teach the newcomer chess, help improve your chess game and study all aspects of chess play or just challenge and play someone.
We provide a clean family friendly enviorment with a knowledgeable staff to enhance your gaming/shopping experience.
